Deirdre started off as an accountant and used to make soup and sell it as a hobby at the Midleton Farmers Market back in 2002. The hobby at the market slowly evolved into a business, in a very organic way, so that by 2005 Deirdre and her friends started selling to a few to the local Super Value. Following quick and steady success, Deirdre graduated to a commercial kitchen in Cobh, Co Cork, where she now prepares all her organic handmade food and supply products, which are in multiples throughout the country including supermarket chains Superquinn, SuperValu and Tesco.

Seeing their healthy, fresh soups on sale across the country in the major multiples and in the many fine independent stores gives Deirdre a great sense of achievement and the encouragement to keep on going.
